Groups
Parent/Carer Support Group - Navigating Eating Disorder Recovery
Many parents find that, in addition to support and services they receive from qualified mental health professionals, they wish that they could talk to another parent who has had similar experiences. When asked who is best able to support them emotionally, parents often identify other parents who can share their experiences. Our Parent Support Group aims to provide this space for parents to gain valuable support from their peers.
This group runs on the second Tuesday of each month.
There are two time slots available to help accommodate different schedules. If you would like to join this group, please click on the link below and select the time you are interested it. A video link will be sent out within 24 hours of the group time.

Workshops
kNOw Dieting: Moving towards food and body peace
This workshop will assist participants in challenging and exploring their own approaches to health as well as their own internal biases related to weight, diet culture, food, body image, and cultural values about health and wellness. This workshop will provide practical and applied learning exercises to help participants re-examine and heal their own relationship with their body, food, and health. It will be run by two of our Registered Dietitians, Elizabeth Gullaher and Kamila Gabitova.
Please note that this workshop will not be discussing how to lose weight, doesn’t focus on weight loss, and doesn’t provide individualized meal plans. Our goal is to move away from focusing on weight and move towards overall health and well-being, including making peace with food and our bodies.
