Hanna Kim, RD, BKin, BSc

Hanna Kim, RD, BKin, BSc, is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Hanna received her first undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at UBC. She then earned a second undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia and completed her dietetic internship with Fraser Health Authority. Hanna began her career as a Clinical Dietitian at Royal Columbian Hospital and Eagle Ridge Hospital, where she gained a wide variety of clinical experience, including diabetes (type 1, type 2, and gestational), medicine, surgeryenteral nutrition, and mental health. Hanna now works at BC Cancer, providing nutritional counselling to patients with experience in head and neck, breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal cancers.

Beyond her clinical work, Hanna has a passion for evidence-based nutrition education and sports. She has worked with the UBC Thunderbirds varsity athletes providing nutrition counselling. Her personal endeavours as a former professional dancer and dedicated runner give her a unique understanding of the demands of nutrition and fuelling properly. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals foster a positive relationship with food and exercise. She hopes to empower individuals to heal their relationship with food and their bodies through realistic and sustainable changes.
