Ally Choo, RD, BSc

Ally Choo, BSc, RD is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Ally received her undergraduate degree with honours from the University of British Columbia and completed her dietetic internship with Providence Health Care. Ally has a wide variety of clinical experience including Diabetes, Medicine, Surgery, Renal Disease, Oncology, Chronic Pain and Chronic Disease.

Ally has years of experience working as the clinical dietitian for the Fraser South Eating Disorders program and is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Ally believes that change starts with one small decision. In her practice, she helps her clients achieve their health and wellness goals by coaching them on how to form simple habits that will lead to lasting results. By combining the psychology of eating and behavior change with the most up to date evidence-based nutrition information, Ally individualizes her nutrition recommendations to fit her client’s unique (and often busy!) lifestyles.

Ally prides herself in being a weight neutral practitioner and practices from a gender and trans inclusive lens. She believes that health is attainable at any weight, shape or size and includes mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Ally focuses on health gain rather than weight loss and finds passion in helping her clients find food freedom.
