Alexandra Kamp, RD, BASc, MAN

Alexandra Kamp, BaSc, MAN, RD is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Alex received her dietetics degrees from the University of Guelph Ontario including a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition and Masters of Applied Nutrition. Alex brings unique experience from a variety of areas of dietetic practice, including client counselling as a grocery store dietitian, nutrition communications, as well as meal and menu planning.

She helps her clients eliminate the overwhelm from conflicting opinions online about what we should or shouldn’t eat, and empowers them with personalized nutrition advice, backed by legitimate research and science. Her goal is to help her clients build sustainable strategies to feel their best and reach their long-term health goals.

Supporting individuals with a variety of health conditions and unique needs, she has been working to develop a specialty in mental health nutrition and recently completed the Nutritional Psychiatry for Healthcare Practitioners training. She also offers individualized meal planning services using a non-diet approach, helping clients get inspired with delicious and nourishing recipes that meet their unique needs and lifestyles.

Alex believes that nutrition isn’t one size fits all and that building a nourishing diet is about the foods you add in, not the foods you take out. Through her German roots, she recognizes that food is about more than the nutrition it provides. It’s also a source of tradition, culture, connection, and joy.

Alex is a weight-neutral practitioner that is passionate about helping individuals improve their mood with food. Her approach is rooted in connecting with and building relationships with her clients, meeting them where they are at in their health and wellness journey.
