Miranda Wong, RD, BSc completed her Dietetics degree from McGill University. She finished her clinical internship at the Jewish General Hospital in Montréal and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados. She is experienced working in public and private healthcare systems, and has specialized knowledge in diabetes, cancer, gut health, heart health, nutrigenomics, renal health, senior's health and women’s health.
In recent years, she has developed a passion for gut health and women's health as she has experienced first hand the effects of a gynaecological condition. She understands how nutritional care can positively impact health outcomes.
Miranda believes in providing holistic care alongside her expertise in food and nutrition to provide support for clients. She cares about how many lifestyle factors, including movement, sleep and stress can impact an individual's eating patterns and relationship with food. Miranda uses evidence-based information to guide her client's journey. She aims to give practical tips that fit with an individual's lifestyle and environment. Her coaching style is to help her clients build long-lasting habits as they journey towards wellness. Her practice is weight-inclusive and non-diet, as she believes wellness can be achieved at any weight and size.
