Aviva Rappaport, RD, MSc
Aviva Rappaport, RD, MSc, completed a Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition and Health at the University of British Columbia graduating with honours distinction. She then completed a Masters of Human Nurtition at the University of British Columbia. Her research was focused on iron deficiency, and anemia. Upon completion she worked in nurtition research at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and has contributed to over 20 scientific research papers.
Wanting to support behaviour change at an individual level, Aviva went on to complete a Masters of Dietetics Credentialling at McGill University where she graduated on the Deans Honour list. She is currently a Registered Dietitian with The College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Aviva has experience and currently works with folks living with eating disorders in both the public and private health sector in British Columbia.
Aviva works from a weight-inclusive approach and non-diet approach. She is passionate about helping others and strives to provide a safe space for each client and to meet them where they are in their recovery journey. Her practice is grounded in individualized nutrition recommendations based on evidenced-based nutrition research.
